Why your scrub shows you nothing

Fair questions.

I already exfoliate three times a week. Why would this show me anything?

Because everything you use works on dry, cemented skin. The beldi soap spends five minutes dissolving the keratin bonds first, so the glove lifts whole softened sheets instead of sanding dust off the top. The collarbone test above will settle it either way before you spend a dollar.

Black soap sounds harsh.

The name oversells it. Savon beldi is macerated olives and olive oil with a mild pH, closer to a balm than a detergent. The exfoliation comes from the glove, and you control every stroke of that.

How is the kessa different from a loofah or an Italy towel?

A loofah is plastic mesh that skates over the surface. The kessa is a woven crepe fabric with a flat, grippy bite that catches softened skin and rolls it. The Italy towel is its Korean cousin and works on the same idea, without the softening step that does most of the work.

Is this okay for sensitive skin or KP?
